The last few days Mohammed  has taken me for drives around the West Bank.  Just outside the hotel and up the pathway, which passes for a road, to the Main Street, a left turn and you will see the mountain-the Theban necropolis where the tombs are. A right tun and the Nile, with felluca a and Luxor  temple in view.
