Last evening was dinner in the garden with Ahmed and for dessert I had tea while he played beautiful soft mellow music on his Irish bouzouki.

Up at six this morning.  The rooster next door thinks it's his job to make sure we don't sleep in.  I could not hear the donkeys braying, but that may just have been because I was not fully awake.

Since then, I have been visited by many of the staff, and my intention to do all my laundry has not been completed even though it is now noon.  What's a gal to do?  Check out the laundry service....hmmmm.

Ahmed has gone to Abydos and Dendara to visit the last two temples on the top ten list.
Mohammed is busy with hotel business.  I am housekeeping.

I thought today would be a pool day for me, but I think I will have to change my daily routine so that I am free in the early morning and/or late afternoon.  This noon day sun is just too intense.
